Square Enix has confirmed the demo for Final Fantasy XV will day-and-date with the release of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD.

When news of the demo got out yesterday morning, followed by its official announcement overnight, timing on the taster's release was not confirmed. Thankfully, we won't have to wait down the line after Type-0 HD's release for it.

"We really hope you’re excited about Final Fantasy XV – Episode Duscae," said Square Enix Japan EU community manager Dan Seto on the EU PlayStation Blog, "and we can’t wait for you to let us know what you think about it when it is released on 20th March 2015."

It's been a big 24-hours for the game after an underground period of over a year, including a new trailer, screens and the news that original director Tetsuya Nomura has stepped aside to devote his time on Kingdom Hearts III, with Third Birthday and Type-0 director Hajime Tabata - who already was co-director on XV - now becoming its sole director.

Type-0 HD launches on March 17 in the US, March 19 in Japan and March 20 in Europe on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
