Phantasy Star Portable 2 Demo Coming

Sega are to release a demo of the upcoming Phantasy Star sequel for the PSP in Japan on November 1st as a digital download from the Playstation Network.

The demo will also be offered on a UMD from November 9th for those without access to a high-speed internet connection to download the sizable demo file.

The demo is quite a large one, allowing players to play the entire first chapter of the story mode, levelling up to Level 15 alongside some missions in the free mission mode. All this will be available in both single player and up to four-player cooperative modes.

Save data from the demo can be carried over to the full version of the game when it hits later this year, so they won't have to play through the first chapter of the game again.

While Japan-only, the download will be sure to show up on websites for Western Phantasy Star fans to download soon after release. The demo clocks in at 370mb. Stick with us on RPGSite for all the latest on the Phantasy Star series.
