Koei Tecmo announces its sequel, Attack on Titan 2, and it will be released in early 2018 worldwide. Here's a teaser trailer featuring some of the iconic scenes from the anime and manga.

The sequel will feature an abundance of new mechanics, building upon the series' fast paced action hallmarks that it's known for. Information about its platforms, release, and storyline will be further unveiled in the following weeks so be on the lookout at our site.

UPDATE: DualShockers inquired with Koei Tecmo President and Chief Operating Officer Hisashi Koinuma, and Omega Force Manager Hideo Suzuki about the game's platforms and it is confirmed to be arriving on the PS4 and Xbox One, while other platforms are still undecided. They're aiming to release new information about the game's content and platforms around October or November, and the goal is to make it available to as many anime fans as possible. Support for both PS4 Pro and Xbox One X is also confirmed.
