Mary Skelter: Nightmares - Jack, Alice, Red character overviews and Nightmare details

Idea Factory International has posted some character overviews for Mary Skelter: Nightmares, as well as some details on the Nightmare enemies you'll face off against in this first-person dungeon crawler.

Crawling around the dungeon hallways are fearsome guardians of the Jail known as Nightmares. Acting in what seems to be Idea Factory's take on FOEs (from Etrian Odyssey) these Nightmares will relentlessly chase the player when they are nearby. This triggers a mode called "Murder Hunter" in which a gauge will appear on the screen that indicates the Nightmare's distance from the party. During Murder Hunt, the area will darken and the blood splatters you previously left in the dungeon will illuminate the way. Also much like FOEs, Nightmares will be very difficult to take on when you first meet them -- it will be smarter to run at first.

There are also a special type of Nightmare called 'Giant Nightmares' that are said to 'mercilessly attack the party in real-time'. These foes must be conquered through the use of the various Blood Maiden abilities the player has and their disposal.
