Tyranny - Bastard's Wound Gamescom Cinematic Trailer

Paradox Interactive and Obsidian Entertainment have released a cinematic trailer for Tyranny: Bastard’s Wound, the first expansion to the CRPG. Bastard's Would will be available on September 7, 2017 on various PC storefronts for $14.99.

We were fairly positive in our review of the Tyranny base game, praising the game's story execution despite the short runtime and some repetitive gameplay. Bastard's wound isn't an extended epilogue or extra chapter, but rather takes place mostly during Act 2 of the game. While this may be disappointing for people who already have completed save files, it should help address a few of the issues that were present in the original release by adding a few more areas to explore and fleshing out some of the companions through new character quests and additional voice acting.

Interestingly enough, Bastard's Wound will release alongside a free update that expands on Act 3 and adds additional voice acting to the game.
