Attack on Titan 2 is coming to Japan on March 15, North America and Europe on March 20

Koei Tecmo has today announced the final release date for Attack on Titan 2 in Japan, which will be coming out there on March 15. Although release dates for North America and Europe have not been announced yet, as they have promised a near-simultaneous worldwide release, they should be rather close to this date.

UPDATE: Koei Tecmo America and Europe have both announced that Attack on Titan 2 will release in those regions on March 20.

In addition to that, they have also announced three more characters that are newly confirmed playable: Annie Leonhart, Reiner Braun, and Bertolt Hoover. At the same time, they have also confirmed that more special titans like the Female Titan are also playable.

These announcements are made at today's Japanese live stream held by Famitsu, which you can watch at the bottom of this article. In the stream, the game's top staffs and voice actresses also showed a live gameplay footage showing more new features such as capturing titans and building supply towers.

Attack on Titan 2 will be released on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam worldwide. An Xbox One version will be available only in North America and Europe, while Japan will get an exclusive PlayStation Vita version instead.
