Hong Kong-based publisher Oasis Games has announced that mobile online action RPG Final Fantasy Awakening will get an English-language release for iOS and Google Play in Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, India, Laos, Cambodia, and Burma in early 2018.
The game was originally titled Final Fantasy Type-0 Online when the game released in China back in 2016, and has since been followed by releases in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Signapore, and Malaysia. Previous versions of the game have had English text, and it's unclear if this new release will feature the same localization.
The game is a free-to-play title based on Final Fantasy Type-0, featuring the same cast of characters and setting. There is no information when the game might be officially brought to the Americas or Europe, or Japan for that matter.

The popular ARPG, part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis sub-series, features complex multiplayer battle gameplay, stunning graphics, and the compelling characters and story for which the Final Fantasy franchise has become famous. In order to stay true to the original "Final Fantasy" series game experience, Final Fantasy Awakening kept the original Japanese VA and Final Fantasy Type-0 characters.
