Phantasy Star Portable 2 heading West, first screens and boxart released

Sega have just confirmed that Phantasy Star Portable 2 will be arriving in the US and Europe this Fall. They've also released the first screenshots of the English localization alongside the European boxart for the game.

The screenshots show off some of the co-operative combat that the Phantasy Star series has become renowned for since the breakthrough of Phantasy Star Online back on the Dreamcast.

Phantasy Star Portable 2 is exclusively for Sony's PSP, and is set to be out some time this Fall. The appearance of the boxart and screens so suddenly suggests that launch date might be the early half of fall rather than later on. It arrived in Japan in December.

Check out the screenshots below, and the new box art in a high resolution below that. Stick with us for all the latest on Phantasy Star Portable 2, including our review before it launches!
