Poppi-Buster [Editor's note: Our interpretation of the name, official English name not yet known] is only available for those who purchased the Expansion Pass. While Poppi's other forms can normally only be used by Tora, Poppi-Buster is an artificial blade that can be used by any of the drivers. This blade is obtained via quest and not the core crystal system.

Like KOS-MOS, T-elos Re: is another Xenosaga cameo character who first made an appearance in Xenosaga Episode III. She is only available on a cleared game save and is obtained through the regular core mechanic. If your save file has a Star on it, you can obtain T-elos. The patch notes also mention that the rate of obtaining her should be higher than typical. Her design here is done by illustrator CHOCO.

Patch 1.4.0 will also add:

  • In 2nd playthrough & beyond, you'll be able to trade for Poppi's parts with EXP at the traveling Bard
  • New sorting options

The production notes also gives tease to future updates to Xenoblade Chronicles 2. In May & beyond, those who bought the Expansion Pass will get new quests, more new blades, challenge battles, Kiwami (Extreme) difficulty mode, and more. Additionally, one of the upcoming new rare blades will have a new illustrator & Japanese voice.
