Divinity: Original Sin II heads to Xbox Game Preview on May 16

Bandai Namco has announced that Divinity: Original Sin II will be added to Xbox Game Preview later this week on May 16. What this means is that Xbox One owners can access the first three hours of the game for free. Additionally, for those who pre-order the game on the Xbox Live Marketplace, the entire first act will be available to play - which amounts to about 20 hours of gameplay. Progress made in this trial will carry over when the full game releases in August.

The publisher also posted a new amusing video with the development team at Larian Studio, showing a skit of how the game was tweaked for the console port and how feedback will be gathered.

Divinity: Original Sin II releases for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in August. You can find our review of the PC version here.
