Little Tail Bronx latest entry Fugue on the Battlefield out summer 2019

CyberConnect2 has revealed in the latest edition of Weekly Famitsu that Fugue on the Battlefield, the 20th anniversary entry in the Little Tail Bronx series (Tail Concerto, Solatorobo) originally announced back in February, will be released sometime in summer 2019.

We have some more details from that issue care of Ryokutya2089. For one thing, the work is being divided between the different studios at CyberConnect2 to make the game's development an easier process. While the storyboards and environments will be made in Japan, the visuals and animations will be made in Montreal. A physical version of the game is planned including a special Limited Edition for fans who are willing to chip in a little more.

One of the more interesting tidbits is that the company is going to be launching a prequel manga to get players up to speed on the world of Fugue on the Battlefield that they may consider serializing. The hope is to one way turn it into an anime, if possible.

Also, three months after Fugue on the Battlefield, CyberConnect2 plans on releasing Tokyo Ogre Gate followed by Cecile three months after that. For those unfamiliar, those were the other two titles CC2 shared details on through its official website.

Fugue on the Battlefield is planned for a simultaneous worldwide release for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. We'll share more details as they become available.
