Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age Definitive Edition heading westward in 2019

During today's Nintendo Direct, Nintendo announced that Dragon Quest XI S is heading westward in 2019. Titled "Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age Definitive Edition", this new version of the game comes with a number of additions to the PlayStation 4 and PC versions released last year.

Firstly, the game will offer a "2D 16-bit" version of the game, which the player can toggle to at any time. The game also includes fully orchestrated field and battle tunes, as well as a voice toggle for English or newly added Japanese voiceovers. It also adds new character-specific stories for each main cast member, and finally an option for increased battle speed.

Here's the video from the presentation. This release will be published by Nintendo and not Square Enix.
