For those unfamiliar, Utawarerumono originally released for PC in Japan back in 2002 as a visual novel, and has since spawned manga/anime adaptations, sequels, and more. The original VN was never officially released in English, although a fan-translation is available.

Prelude to the Fallen is a remake of the original storyline and released last year in Japan. This new version, a Strategy RPG/VN hybrid, will be the first official English release of the Utawarerumono origin story. Two sequels - Mask of Deception and Mask of Truth - released for PlayStation 4 and Vita in English in 2017, localized by Atlus USA.

Day One Edition
