Originally released for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance in 2003, STORY OF SEASONS: Friends of Mineral Town is a complete remake that will let series fans revisit the charming world of Mineral Town, while also introducing it to a new generation of farmers. In this peaceful setting, players will grow crops, take care of animals, and build relationships with villagers.

Marvelous has today officially revealed Bokujou Monogatari: Saikai no Mineral Town (Farm Story: Reunion in Mineral Town) for Nintendo Switch in Japan. This is a full remake which combines the Game Boy Advance game Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town with its female version Harvest Moon: More Friends of Mineral Town into a single package. Players are now able to choose between the male and female protagonist in the same game, and this remake also adds a new alternative avatar for each gender.

Worldwide localizations of this remake have also been confirmed by Marvelous Japan in their official press release. The North American release will be handled by XSEED and Marvelous USA, the European release by Marvelous Europe, and the Asian release by Sega Games. Although the localized title has not been officially announced yet as of this writing, it's likely that it will become Story of Seasons: Reunion in Mineral Town.

This game is the first in Marvelous' mainline Story of Seasons series to be released for the Switch (Doraemon: Story of Seasons, which is also coming soon to the West, is a collaboration game published by Bandai Namco). It is also teased that this remake will add a new pair of marriage candidates.
