Persona 5 Scramble - 3rd Morgana Report Trailer gives more details on Persona enhancement features and Sapporo arc

Atlus has delivered more new information for Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers by publishing the third Morgana Report trailer. This time they are bringing in more details on the game's Persona enhancement features while also giving a sneak peek on the Sapporo arc of the story.

Just like the original Persona 5 RPG, the protagonist Joker is the only character who can collect Persona masks and equip multiple Personas. However, when he obtains a mask of a Persona he already owns, it will be converted into Persona Points that can be used to strengthen existing Personas.

The series staple Persona Fusion feature is of course still intact in this action RPG spinoff. A Persona that came from numerous fusions will get more stat bonuses. There are also Skill Card items that can be used on a Persona to learn a skill included in the card.

A new key character in the Sapporo arc is also introduced. Mariko Hyodo (voiced by Kyoko Terase) is a politician who has somehow garnered so much support from the citizens. She is also familiar with Haru Okumura as she is a long acquaintance of the latter's father. The Sapporo Jail area, which the Phantom Thieves will be exploring, is a very cold place with freezing temperatures. There will be ice-related obstacles such as ice walls, and gimmicks like snowboarding while beating enemies and activating stoves that can warm the Phantom Thieves.

Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers will be released for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan on February 20. A release timeframe for the Western localization has yet to be announced. Since the previous Morgana Report trailer, Atlus had uploaded character trailers for Ann, Yusuke, and Haru.
