The Legend of Heroes: Hajimari no Kiseki launches in Japan on August 27

Nihon Falcom has confirmed the release date of The Legend of Heroes: Hajimari no Kiseki in Japan. This massive JRPG will be available there on August 27.

As we have learned from the first reveal, Hajimari no Kiseki will act as a hub that connects the storylines of prior titles in the series and lets you play from three different perspectives of Rean Schwarzer, Lloyd Bannings, and the Hermit who is only known as "C". There are over 50 characters that can join one of the three parties, although a special dungeon where you can include any characters in the whole roster into the party will also be available.

Falcom also revealed that Hajimari no Kiseki will have bonuses by retaining system data of other series games in the PS4 console, namely Zero no Kiseki Kai, Ao no Kiseki Kai, Sen no Kiseki III (Trails of Cold Steel III), and Sen no Kiseki IV (Trails of Cold Steel IV). The bonuses can be obtained when you start the routes of the respective protagonists: Lloyd Bannings for the Crossbell games and Rean Schwarzer for the Cold Steel games. There are also three exclusive accessories that can only be obtained by fulfilling each of the following conditions:

  • Retaining system data of both Zero no Kiseki Kai and Ao no Kiseki Kai
  • Retaining system data of both Trails of Cold Steel III and IV
  • Retaining cleared save data of Trails of Cold Steel IV with S Rank

An English localization for Hajimari no Kiseki has yet to be announced as of this writing.
