Mortal Shell - Eredrim The Venerable Gameplay Trailer from IGN Expo

During today's IGN Expo Day 1 streaming event, publisher Playstack and developer Cold Symmetry offered an additional look at the gameplay for souls-like RPG Mortal Shell.

In a later conversation with the development team at Cold Symmetry, they revealed that the game will have four possible "shells" that the player can choose between, each with a different playstyle, though they will have to be found in the game before they can be used. Your character can be knocked out of your shell, however, if you take too much damage. The developers stated there can be some advantages to this, but you are left with only a single HP.

Check out the new trailer below, along with the development team conversation that aired during IGN Expo. A beta version of the game will be available on July 3 for those who join the official Discord channel.
