Megadimension Neptunia VII launches for Nintendo Switch eShop on July 28
The Nintendo eShop page for Megadimension Neptunia VII has revealed a July 28 release date for the port. The game originally released for PlayStation 4 in Japan in 2015, with a worldwide PS4 and PC release in 2016.
Idea Factory has yet to officially announce the release date, but a late July release seems plausible. The game will only be available digitally, priced at $29.99, and includes all PS4 version add-on content with the exception of the Million Arthur related content.
Update (June 25): Idea Factory has confirmed the July 28 data, and a new trailer has been posted below.
Here's the game description from the eShop page.
Next Gen, Next Form... Next Nep! Can the Goddesses save multiple dimensions and restore order to Gamindustri?
A new group has replaced Gamindustri’s Goddesses seemingly overnight, and Neptune’s nowhere in sight! Warped into a decimated new dimension, the Nep sisters join a mysterious Goddess to fight against a massive new threat to save the Zero Dimension.
Can they save multiple dimensions and restore order to Gamindustri?
- Characters can link up for stronger attacks, “Parts Break” allows you to split enemies into pieces to lower their stats and disable special attacks, and “Giant Battles” impose limits that will challenge the strategist in you.
- Transform your Goddesses to the NEXT level! Break those big baddies into bits with NEXT mode, which features special skills and a special costume for the Goddesses.
- Traverse through three dimensions to save Gamindustri with your favorite Goddesses and familiar characters at your side!
