Pokemon Legends Arceus Gligar Evolution: How to evolve Gligar into Gliscor

Gligar is one of those Generation II Pokemon that got a second chance at life with a new evolution during Generation IV - so it's fitting that you can find and catch one in Pokemon Legends Arceus, which of course is set in the same region. Once you've got one, you'll then want to evolve it into Gliscor, primarily for filling in your Pokedex but also for if you want to take them into battle.

How do you evolve Gilgar into Gliscor, though? Well, on this page we detail that - plus note where you can catch Gilgar in case you need to find it in the first place. If this helps yuou, remember we've got similar pages on other evolutions including Qwilfish to Overqwil, Hisuian Zoroark, Stantler to Wyrdeer, and all of the newly-changed Trade Evolutions.

Where to catch Gligar

For the benefit of those that haven't yet actually caught a Gligar, you can find them dotted about both the Coronet Highlands as well as the Alabaster Icelands - for brevity's sake, however, we're going to focus on the former rather than the latter. You can find a bunch of them next to an Alpha Gliscor near the Primeval Grotto in the Coronet Highlands.

As you can see - simply grabbing a Gligar is fairly simple, but even if you've already caught one it would be a good idea to keep in mind where you can find more of them. This will be important later. Also worthy of note is that Alpha Gliscor among the pack - if you're confident with your stealth skills, you can quite possibly catch it if all you're after is Pokedex completion.

Here's the complicated part of the process - Gligar requires a Razor Fang in order to evolve to a Gliscor, which can be found in Space-Time Distortions and purchased at the Item Exchange. You can also find them as drops from catching and battling wild Gligar, however, and this might be the fastest way of picking one up.

Simply beat up or catch as many Gligar as you can, and eventually, you should run across the Razor Fang you'll need to evolve yours. As a side note, if you're searching for Black Augurite to evolve your Scyther into a Kleavor, you can use a similar tactic by battling Gravelers.

Once you've found a Razor Fang, it's as simple as selecting it while a Gligar is in your party, and then using it to cause it to evolve. Congrats on your new Gliscor!
