Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition Heart-to-Heart Locations & Answers Guide

One of the key mechanics to Xenoblade Chronicles is the Affinity Level between characters. Functionally, having a high affinity allows characters to share Skill Links amongst each other, which can really boost your combat capabilities, but it also allows you to see special conversations known as Heart-to-Hearts.

Heart-to-Hearts are side events between pairs of characters in Xenoblade Chronicles, and can be found at specified locations in the world with a symbol of shaking hands in the shape of a heart. Not only do these show some character insight between members of the party, but also allow you to boost Affinity even further by choosing the proper dialogue choices in the conversation.

There are three Heart-to-Hearts found in the game for each pair of characters, which adds up to 63 Heart-to-Hearts in total. However, in order to see these conversations, the affinity between characters must have reached a certain threshold. Affinity is shown by one of 5 icons in the Affinity Chart: yellow, green, blue, purple, or pink.
