Persona 4 Golden: Dojima (Hierophant) social link choices & unlock guide
Just as in its successor, the father figure in Persona 4 Golden represents the Hierophant Arcana - that’s the Ryotaro Dojima social link, your chance to get closer to your adoptive father figure and a small-town cop in the game.
Progressing through the Dojima social link will teach you more about him and the house in which you live, and goes hand-in-hand with the s-link of Nanako, his daughter. It also unlocks bonuses related to the Hierophant Arcana, of course.

Ryotaro Dojima S-Link Guide - Hierophant
On this page we’ve got a level of detail that detective Dojima would be proud of. We’ve got every single rank-impacting dialogue option that appears as part of the Dojima social link, advice that will help you to level up this s-link quickly.
Social links in P4G rank up based on a hidden experience stat, and talking to characters in the right way can earn bonus points to get you those rank ups more quickly. This page lists all of the rank-raising dialogue options in the Dojima social link so you can maximize your gains each time you hang out with him.
The numbers presented represent the increase you’ll get when you have a Hierophant Persona on your person, which increases the bonus further still. Any choices not listed offer no bonus points.
- The social link with Dojima automatically begins on 6 May.
- Dojima can be hung out with on any night time, but only when he’s actually at home in your house. This is often determined by your progress in dungeons - finishing dungeons early often frees Dojima up for days at a time.
- However, balance this with Nanako’s social link, as when Dojima is available she isn’t, and the reverse.
- Dojima's s-link can sometimes get bonus points from doing gardening, if you're tempted.
