You don't get access to the Fantasy Life i Digital Deluxe Edition DLC immediately. Once you play through the opening and follow the story for under an hour, you will be told to go to the Guild Office. You can access the Fantasy Life i Digital Deluxe Edition DLC from the Guild Office & Paladin's Guild in Eternia Village shown on the map below. Once you enter, interact with the Treasure Chest on the left and claim the Fantasy Life i Digital Deluxe Edition DLC content listed as the "Deluxe Edition" here. It will be listed below the pre-order bonus "New Adventurer's Pack".
How to use the Fantasy Life i Digital Deluxe Edition DLC content
Once you have claimed the Fantasy Life i Digital Deluxe Edition DLC, you can open the menu by pressing +, options, start, or the guide button depending on what controller you are using. The Fantasy Life i Deluxe Edition DLC items are available under Equipment or Outfits.
How to unlock mounts in Fantasy Life i to use the Napdragon mount
Mounts are unlocked hours into the game. Once you've progressed the story enough and are told to collect 10,000 dosh (money), you will move to another location to continue the story. After interacting with NPCs here and doing the first quest to collect "Soothing Water", you will unlock Mounts by talking to The Don and completing the quest. The mount you unlock initially is the Camel. You can go into your menu and now access the new Mount option to change to the Napdragon mount. You can find screenshots for unlocking this below:
How to upgrade to the Fantasy Life i Digital Deluxe Edition from standard edition
If you pre-ordered the Fantasy Life i standard edition or just bought it and want to get the Digital Deluxe Edition contents, you can purchase the Fantasy Life i Digital Deluxe Edition Upgrade for $13.99. While it would've cost $10 more if you purchased it with the standard edition as a bundle, this isn't too bad at least. The upgrade should be up on all current platforms
