Pokemon Legends: Z-A Mega Evolution List and How to Unlock Them
It goes without saying, but one of the headlining features of Pokemon Legends: Z-A is the return of Mega Evolutions - as well as the addition of quite a few new ones! While the game doesn't include any brand new Pokemon, simply figuring out how to access all of the game's Mega Stones required to Mega Evolve your party can be quite the undertaking. While many of them are simply given to you over the course of the story, there's a fair number of them that might not be immediately obvious how you acquire them. Thankfully, we've tracked down every one of the Mega Stones released thus far.
It goes without saying, but this is your final warning: there will be spoilers in the list ahead.
Mega Stones Acquired through the Story
These Mega Stones are the ones that, assuming you follow the story, they're impossible to miss - with one key exception we'll be getting to later. The majority of these will be gifted after defeating their Rogue Mega Evolution, though some are simply given to you by NPCs during the story.

How to get Mega Eternal Flower Floette

This is likely the last Mega Evolution you'll unlock normally. In the postgame, players unlock the Infinite Z-A Royale; after completing 14 Reward Matches, your 15th will be against your rival - after your match, you'll receive a quick scene that wraps a bow on their remaining story threads. You'll receive AZ's Floette and its Mega Stone in addition to your standard Reward Match spoils.
Mega Stones Purchased from Stone Emporium
These Mega Stones are purchased, with Poke Dollars, from the Stone Emporium in Southern Lumiose. They're pricey, but nothing that you'll have to worry about before long. Here's every stone you can purchase from the Emporium:

As an aside, as far as I can tell the Mega Stones for the First Partner Pokemon you did not choose won't be available until the postgame.
