Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is now available bringing a new style for both Pyra and Mythra as revealed in the overview trailer alongside the new rare blade MOMO. This guide will cover how to change costumes for Pyra and Mythra and how you can unlock the new styles for both.
How to unlock new styles for Pyra and Mythra in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Nintendo Switch 2 Edition
The first thing to note is this is only available on Switch 2 with the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. It is not available for the Switch 1 version. You can unlock the new style as a reward from the Merc Assault mode or by scanning either the Pyra or Mythra amiibo. I unlocked them by scanning just Mythra.
How to scan amiibo in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 on Switch 2 and the rewards
Press (-) or go to the System section after pressing (+). From here, select the amiibo option and scan your amiibo. You can scan up to three amiibo per day. Scanning Mythra or Pyra should unlock the new styles and give you an extra reward like WP, SP, Ether Crystals, and more.
How to change Pyra and Mythra's outfit in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Nintendo Switch 2 Edition
Once you've unlocked them, you need to go into the Game Settings menu and enablet he New Style Pyra/Mythra option at the bottom.
