Atelier Ryza 2 TGS 2020 trailer confirms a PlayStation 5 release

Koei Tecmo and Gust published more information on Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy at Tokyo Game Show 2020 Online. Other than live gameplay footage, the stream also showed a new trailer that featured the game's theme song: "Somewhen, Somewhere..." by Clammbon. However, the biggest highlight from both the stream and the trailer was the confirmation that Atelier Ryza 2 will also be available on PlayStation 5.

More details on the PlayStation 5 version were divulged from the Japanese fine print. Those who have purchased the PS4 version of Atelier Ryza 2, both physically and digitally, will be allowed to upgrade to the PS5 version without any additional cost. Those who already pre-ordered the PS4 version are also allowed to cancel it if they are considering to move straight to PS5.
