Nayuta no Kiseki Kai launches for PlayStation 4 in 2021 in Japan

Nihon Falcom has revealed Nayuta no Kiseki Kai, an enhanced port of Nayuta no Kiseki that will be released for PlayStation in 2021 in Japan. This is one of the numerous titles previously teased by Falcom in their plans for the fiscal year ending September 2021, with the major title being The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki that's also revealed at the same time.

Nayuta no Kiseki is an action RPG originally released for the PlayStation Portable in 2012. It was never localized outside Japan. Just like the PS4 Kai remasters of prior Trails games, Nayuta no Kiseki Kai will come with a 60 fps frame rate and quality improvements in audio and graphics including UI.

However, Nayuta no Kiseki Kai does not just stop there as it will even revamp the event visuals with newer illustrations as well. In the comparison below, the left sepia picture with vignette is from the original PSP release, while the more colorful image at the right is what the same event will look like in the PS4 port.

Nayuta no Kiseki tells the story of Nayuta Herschel, a boy whose hobby is stargazing with the telescope and sextant left over by his father. He challenges the popular belief in the game's world that "The world is flat." Accompanied by his childhood friend Signa Alhasen, Nayuta will encounter more characters like Creha and Noi.
