Senran Ninnin Ninja Taisen Neptune will add female version of Goh from Shinobido

Compile Heart has revealed the Senran Ninnin Ninja Taisen Neptune: Shoujo-tachi no Kyouen will have a gender-bent version of Goh the Crow from Shinobido: Way of the Ninja as a new playable character.

Goh is originally a male ninja who became the protagonist in Shinobido: Way of the Ninja, a PlayStation 2 stealth action game released in Japan in November 2005 and Europe in June 2006. More details on Goh's appearance in Senran Ninnin Ninja Taisen Neptune, including the biography and role in the game's world setting, will be revealed at a later date.

While this game has been widely promoted as a crossover game between Senran Kagura and Neptunia, it will also feature more characters outside of both franchises. The game already has a new original protagonist named Yuuki. The world background also mentioned numerous smaller nations, which may have hinted at more titles like Shinobido joining the fray.

Senran Ninnin Ninja Taisen Neptune will be released for PlayStation 4 on August 26 in Japan. An English localization of this crossover game has yet to be announced.
