Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer Mode teased in UK magazine cover

If you've been following Mass Effect 3 since it's initial announcement, you have definitely heard of several rumours claiming the third entry of the popular Sci-Fi RPG will not be a single player only game like the previous games but it will feature online multiplayer modes.

Rumours persisted throughout, cropping up during and after E3, but now UK games magazine Xbox World 360 appears to have a story on the game which may well feature details on the multiplayer.

"Mass Effect 3 - New Levels - and Multiplayer!" the front of the magazine loudly and excitedly proclaims. Mass Effect 3 is also featured on the DVD included with the mag, according to the cover.

We'll have to wait until the magazine hits store shelves to see what they have on the game's puported multiplayer modes, but the timing of this cover story places it awfully close to GamesCom 2011 in Cologne, Germany. EA will be holding a Press Conference at the event and we're booked in to see new things from Mass Effect 3 at the show - could that be multiplayer? Only time will tell.
