Bandai Namco announces official western English localization for Super Robot Wars 30 for Steam on October 28
Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe has officially announced that Super Robot Wars 30 will launch in the west via Steam on October 28.
While the recent Japanese and Asian announcement of this new title includes versions for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, the official western release will be Steam only. This is similar to the release of SD Gundam G Generation Cross Rays in 2019, which also only released the PC version in the west.
While several recent Super Robot Wars games are available in English via releases in the Asian market, it's been a long time since any Super Robot Wars title has ever gotten an official western release in any form. Not since Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier on Nintendo DS in 2009 (or before that the Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation games on Game Boy Advance) has the series seen an official release in the west.

SUPER ROBOT WARS 30 is a new tactical RPG bringing characters and robots from a variety of mecha anime together to battle their mutual foes.

SUPER ROBOT WARS 30 will be available for PC via STEAM from October 28th, 2021 and is now available for pre-orders in the following editions:

- Ultimate Edition including the Game, the Season Pass, a Bonus Mission Pack and the Premium Sound & Data Pack
