Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity second expansion Guardian of Remembrance arrives on October 29

At today's Nintendo Direct, Nintendo and Koei Tecmo revealed the second expansion for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, titled Guardian of Remembrance. The latter part of the Expansion Pass content will be available worldwide on October 29.

This expansion will add even more playable characters to the roster. The scientists Robbie and Purah, originally appearing as NPCs, will be turned into playable characters — although it seems like both of them will be treated as a single player. The trailer also teased that there will be one more character joining the overall roster.

Other than characters, Guardian of Remembrance will also add new stories depicting the battles in Kakariko and Goponga villages, among others. It will also have new stages like the Coliseum while adding new actions for existing characters.

Guardian of Remembrance is the latter of the two DLC waves included in the Expansion Pass. The first wave "Pulse of the Ancients" came out on June 18. The second wave will be available a month sooner than its initial ETA of November 2021.

The fight against Calamity Ganon continues in Guardian of Remembrance, the second half of the Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Expansion Pass, arriving on October 29th.
