Another Eden opens a teaser website for an upcoming crossover collaboration with Square Enix

Wright Flyer Studios has opened a teaser website for Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space, teasing an upcoming crossover collaboration with Square Enix. A live stream reveal is set to take place on Saturday, December 4 at 9am UTC on YouTube.

As for what Square Enix game the collaboration is with ... not only does the imagery on the teaser website resemble PlayStation classic Chrono Cross, but a recent Reddit topic indicates that datamined content very clearly references Chrono Cross characters.

"Chrono Cross Remaster" has also appeared in the Nvidia GeForce Now leak, alongside several other interesting RPGs. RPG Site has also heard that Square Enix is working on such a remaster, which considering Square Enix's recent efforts with other re-releases such as SaGa Frontier Remastered and Legend of Mana, seems quite plausible. Perhaps this crossover will somehow be coordinated with such a rumored remaster, though nothing yet is official.

Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space is a free-to-play RPG that released for PC via Steam in March, following a mobile release in January 2019. Another Eden's developer staff includes Chrono Trigger writer Masato Kato along with a main theme composed by Yasunori Mitsuda.

The beginning, since lost to oblivion...
A memory now nothing but a faded echo.
Time stopped for me then.
A soul with no place, I became a petal on the wind.
Until suddenly, a clock long since broken
carefully and quietly began to move...
And with it, something started anew in you.
Our future, our tomorrow...
Beckoned forth...
By familiar voices from beyond the dark...
