The Caligula Effect 2 launches for PC on June 23

Historia has announced that The Caligula Effect 2 will launch for PC via Steam on June 23 (or June 22, depending on time zones). The game will also land on Epic Games Store.

The Caligula Effect 2, developed by Historia, originally released in Japan in June 2021 for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. An English release followed in October 2021 for the same platforms, localized by NIS America.

It is interesting to note that NIS America published the original The Caligula Effect: Overdose on Steam in 2019, while Historia seems to be self-publishing the sequel. The Caligula Effect 2 will still support an English interface and sub-titles.

To commemorate the 6th anniversary of the Caligula series, as well as the PC port announcement, a new "Old Fashioned Clothes" outfit will be included in the new PC version. This outfit is planned to be added to the PS4 and Switch versions at a later date.

Two PC version trailers and the store page description can be found below, along with screenshots of the old-fashioned outfits.
