Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster surpasses 600,000 units sold worldwide

Atlus has posted its public notice relaying its financials results for the year ending in March 2022 [PDF, via]. In the report, Atlus has revealed that Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster has surpassed 600,000 units sold worldwide. 

The remaster originally released for Japan & Asia in October 2020 for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, followed by an English console & Steam release in May 2021.

Atlus reiterates that Shin Megami Tensei V, which released in November 2021 worldwide, has achieved more than 1 million units sold. As a point of comparison, our last known sales results for Shin Megami Tensei IV is 600,000 units sold worldwide as of July 2015.

Atlus' next major release is another game under the broad SMT umbrella, as Soul Hackers 2 is set to launch this August. And in case you somehow missed it, Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 5 Royal are coming to more consoles and PC soon.
