Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth's release on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 delayed to December 22

Square Enix has decided to push back the upcoming release of Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 back to December 22. Previously, the port of the classic RPG was releasing alongside Valkyrie Elysium on September 29.

Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth is offered with purchases of the Digital Deluxe Edition of Valkyrie Elysium and will also be sold separately. Those that have already pre-ordered the Digital Deluxe Edition will still receive Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth on December 22. The new re-release of Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth is only available on PS5 and PS4; it will not be coming to Steam, even though Valkyrie Elysium will be later coming to Steam on November 11.

Valkyrie Elysium is still scheduled to launch on September 29 for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. I shared my initial thoughts and impressions on the demo that recently released for it.

As we celebrate the upcoming launch of Valkyrie Elysium, we unfortunately need a bit more time for Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth to improve the quality of the title and have decided to move the release date to December 22nd, 2022.

For those who have pre-ordered Valkyrie Elysium Digital Deluxe Edition from the PlayStation Store; you will now receive your copy of Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth on December 22nd, 2022.
