NieR: Automata anime series to air in January 2023
Square Enix and Aniplex have announced that the previously-revealed NieR: Automata anime series will air in January 2023, titled NieR: Automata Ver1.1a.
The anime series is being created at A-1 Pictures, with character design by Jun Nagai and music by MONACA.
Additionally, during the Aniplex Online Fest presentation, game director Yoko Taro and anime director Ryouji Masuyama detailed how the anime series will contain some changes from the NieR: Automata video game in order to suit a TV format.
