Baten Kaitos: I & II HD Remaster will include a turbo mode, an instant KO toggle, and New Game Plus

Baten Kaitos: I & II HD Remaster was announced earlier this month during the February 2023 Nintendo Direct, putting together two of Monolith Soft's Gamecube-era JRPGs into a singular remaster package. At the time, Bandai Namco's western branches stated that the remaster would include various new additions, namely: "encounters-off, auto-battle, skip cutscenes, and auto-save."

However, Bandai Namco Asia included further details about other gameplay & quality-of-life components being added to the remaster. Bandai Namco Asia's announcement actually went up at the same time as their western branch counterparts, but this simply went unnoticed by many, us at RPG Site included. Thanks to Nintendo Everything for pointing out these additional details.

In addition to the previously revealed additions, Baten Kaitos: I & II HD Remaster will also include a turbo mode, an instant KO toggle, and various New Game+ options. The details can be found below, via Bandai Namco Asia.

Baten Kaitos: I & II HD Remaster is set to release this Summer for Nintendo Switch.
