Forever Entertainment has officially announced that Front Mission 1st: Remake will launch for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (Steam, Epic, GOG) on June 30, priced at $34.99/€34,99. A demo is also available from the game's Steam page, with progress able to be carried over to the full release.

Store pages for Front Mission 1st: Remake have appeared on both Steam and PlayStation Store, labeled with a release date of June 30. The store pages were first spotted by the eagle-eyed Gematsu.

Front Mission 1st: Remake — which is a remake of the original Front Mission tactical RPG — released exclusively for Nintendo Switch last November. In our review, Quinton described the game as having fun battles, but terse dialogue and quirky controls.

Forever Entertainment, the publisher and developer behind the remake, has not yet officially announced any other platforms for Front Mission 1st: Remake, so we'll have to wait to confirm details about the new versions, pricing, and the like.

Oddly enough, the sequel in Front Mission 2 Remake — which is still only announced for Nintendo Switch — was recently delayed to an unspecified date later this year. A Front Mission 3 Remake has also been announced, although it is seemingly still a way out from release.
