Biomutant unleashes its post-apocalyptic open world to the Nintendo Switch on May 14

Publisher THQ Nordic and developer Experiment 101 has announced that they are releasing open world RPG Biomutant to the Nintendo Switch on May 14. This follows a recent delay in which they initially reported that it would hit the Nintendo platform last November.

The release on Nintendo will include its DLC consisting of the DLC-only Mercenary class and soundtrack. When it released in 2021, the game recouped its development and marketing costs within one week. Since then, the RPG was received a PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S release in September 2022.

A new trailer for its upcoming re-release was released that has all of its gameplay footage recorded from a Nintendo Switch console.

Biomutant is set to release on Nintendo Switch on May 14th, 2024, at a suggested retail price (SRP) of €39.99 / $39.99 / £34.99. The Mercenary-Loadout DLC is included. The game is already available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

BIOMUTANT is an open-world, post-apocalyptic Wung-Fu fable RPG, with unique martial art styled combat system allowing you to mix melee, shooting, and mutant ability action.

• A NEW TAKE ON 3rd PERSON COMBAT - The martial arts style combat system allows you maximum freedom of movement and agility while mixing shooting, melee, and powers from your mutations. Learning new Wung-Fu combat forms through progression and learning from masters you’ll meet, will constantly add to your choices and make sure combat never gets old.
