Darkest Dungeon II: Anniversary Edition physical special edition launches Q4 2025 for Nintendo Switch and PS5

Darkest Dungeon II from Red Hook Studios is getting a special edition physical release in Q4 2025 for Nintendo Switch and PS5 in the form of the Darkest Dungeon II: Anniversary Edition.

The Darkest Dungeon II: Anniversary Edition physical release is priced at $99.99 with pre-orders now live. Red Hook Studios and Skybound Games have partnered to include collectible items and digital bonuses for both platforms. Red Hook Studios also announced that the second Kingdoms module – Secrets of the Coven – will be launching this month on consoles with it arriving on PlayStation 5 first when it arrives tomorrow. The Xbox and Switch versions will get this content later in the month.

Darkest Dungeon II is now available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.

Red Hook Studios and Skybound Games today announced a new physical edition for the smash hit gothic horror RPG Darkest Dungeon II. Celebrating two years since Red Hook released this roguelike turn-based road trip of the damned, the Darkest Dungeon II: Anniversary Edition is packed with nightmarish extras to accompany players on their journey for redemption. The Anniversary Edition is now available for pre-order at Amazon.com (Nintendo Switch, PlayStation) for $99.99 and will ship in Q4 2025.

Red Hook will also release the second Kingdoms module – Secrets of the Coven – to consoles this month to further celebrate the game’s anniversary. PlayStation will be the first to receive this new content in an update set for tomorrow May 7th, with Xbox and Nintendo Switch to follow in late May. Kingdoms is a new free game mode that introduces a fresh, reimagined structure that can be enjoyed as a parallel experience to the original Confessions game mode. Kingdoms will feature three themed adventure modules, each containing a different threat. Red Hook recently announced May 1st that the Kingdoms game mode, along with the Inhuman Bondage DLC, launched on Nintendo Switch.
