Final Fantasy IX Timeless Tale 25th Anniversary Vinyl showcases newly recorded Melodies of Life in video

Back in March, Square Enix launched a 25th Anniversary website for Final Fantasy IX ahead of the game's 25th anniversary on July 7. The website revealed new merchandise including a vinyl soundtrack which has had its first trailer released with a new recording of Melodies of Life.

The Final Fantasy IX 25th Anniversary Vinyl - Timeless Tale, available to pre-order now, features original and a newly recorded songs including the highlight of today's trailer in Melodies of Life. The vinyl cover art features liner notes from Nobuo Uemasu and has artwork from Toshiyuki Itahana. It is set to release this July in Japan and this August in Europe and North America. It is priced at $52.99.
