Magic Librarian Ariana trailer published with Japanese release date confirmed on August 21

Compile Heart has published more information for their upcoming 2D action RPG Magic Librarian Ariana ~The Books of the Seven Heroes~. The company uploaded a new announcement trailer that goes through the general gist of the game's features while publishing details about the game's limited editions and pre-order bonuses. They have also since confirmed the exact release date for the game in Japan, which shall now fall on August 21.

Details on the game's purchase incentives have appeared on the game's Japanese official website. The Digital Deluxe edition will come with a bonus digital art book and a soundtrack album. The physical Special Edition will also contain similar bonuses in physical book and disc formats, with an additional exclusive quill pen.

Pre-ordering the game physically will also let the owner get a Bookmark of the Sea as an in-game DLC item. In addition, Compile Heart is working with various retailers in Japan to release the game with exclusive bonus items from each outlet. While most outlets offer simple memorabilia like posters and acrylic items, two of them notably have exclusive in-game DLC items themed after the respective outlets:

  • Amazon Japan: Dense Forest Bracelet - Heals 1% HP every 5 seconds
  • GEO: Geo Bracelet - Heals 1% SP every 5 seconds
