1990 MSX2 release of Mado Monogatari 1-2-3 gets an EGG Console port for Nintendo Switch on June 26
D4 Enterprise has revealed that they will release an EGG Console port of the 1990 MSX2 release of Mado Monogatari 1-2-3 for Nintendo Switch worldwide. The company has also prepared a link on the North American eShop with a price tag of $15.26, but it is still not actually up yet and is thus expected to go live by the actual release date of June 26.
As a side note, both the 1990 MSX2 and 1991 PC-9801 versions of the trilogy compilation starring Arle Nadja have also been released on the Project EGG platform for Windows PC. But while this compilation is also one of the earliest releases in the series, it was not actually the very first one. That honor went to Mado Monogatari: Episode II Carbuncle for MSX2 in 1989, of which the creator Kazunari Yonemitsu noted that the Star Wars series inspired him to produce the second episode first.
You can find the official gameplay trailer, screenshots, and description for Mado Monogatari 1-2-3 right below. Even though D4 Enterprise will release the port worldwide, it will still only feature the original Japanese language.
