During the Arc System Works Showcase, former NIS president and Disgaea series creator Sohei Niikawa announced Demon's Night Fever, a simulation RPG set to release in 2026. Console platforms were not announced.

Niikawa recently established SuperNiche, a one-person company aiming to "provide a one-of-a-kind entertainment content experience for people around the world". According to Demon's Night Fever's official website, the game will be developed by Drecom.

Below you can find Niikawa's description of the game, alongside its announcement teaser trailer. The trailer shows that the game scenario is done by Roman Kitayama, formerly described by SuperNiche as a ''mysterious novice novelist". Designs are done by Yuji Himukai, known for characters in Etrian Odyssey. Music will be done by Tatsuya Yano, known for several Atelier and other Gust RPGs.

Quote by producer Sohei Niikawa

"The concept of this game is to 'Embrace being evil.' This game lets you wildly enjoy all sorts of wickedness. There is a game I made in the past [*******], which I am going to overcome with this game. Now, I will tell you the genre of this game, which is very, very long. Are you ready?

Enemies? Allies? Kill Kill Kill! The more you die, the stronger you become! Raising Speedrunning Simulation RPG.

Got it? I know you feel it's nonsense, and I feel the same when saying it myself. But that's how outrageous this game is, so we hope you look forward to it!

I haven't brought any game footage today, but the development is already in its final stages. And we're actually in crunch time. We're about to release an incomparable and extraordinary game. Please get ready for it."
