Konami releases Suikoden Star Leap battle trailer going over the game's normal battles, War Mode, and more

Konami has released a new Suikoden Star Leap battle trailer going over the game's combat system covering Normal Battles, War Mode, and more ahead of its launch worldwide for Steam, iOS, and Android.

This four minute long trailer covers support, chains, composition, attacks, runes, and more. If you've not followed the game, Suikoden Star Leap is a free-to-play game with in-game purchases featuring pixel art graphics that aim to enhance the series' traditional aesthetic. Suikoden Star Leap is in development for iOS, Android, and PC (Steam). A release window has not been revealed.

Battle

Normal Battle

This game employs a timeline turn based battle system.
A highly strategic battle in which players choose from three types of actions: normal attacks, runes and special techniques to fight together with their allies.

War mode

A real-time strategy system in which both enemies and allies units move simultaneously.
Command your troops and lead them to victory while keeping an eye on the situation.

Party edit

Up to six players can be set in the front and back rows.
Characters from previous numbered titles in the Suikoden series can also be used.
