Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter Prologue demo now available, Switch 2 version announced

Today, Falcom and GungHo have released a free Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter demo covering the game's prologue.

Progress made in Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter Prologue demo can be brought over to the full game at launch. Falcom also announced a Switch 2 version of Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter. This version will be a digital-only release worldwide offering higher resolution and frame rate support. It will be available as an upgrade to those who buy the Switch version through an Upgrade Pass priced at 150 Yen in Japan and $1 in the US. Thanks to Gematsu for the heads up!

If you missed the recent news around thwe upcoming remake, an interview with Falcom's Kondo revealed that it took a programmer 80 hours to fully complete game. Kondo also explained the Japanese voice cast changes in the same interview. 

Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter launches worldwide on September 19 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, PC (Steam), and newly announced for Nintendo Switch 2.

In the demo version, players can experience the prologue of the story. Save data can be carried over to the full version of the game to continue the journey.
