Happinet Tokyo Game Show 2025 booth will include Starbites' playable demo build

Happinet has revealed that they will host a large booth featuring numerous game demos at Tokyo Game Show 2025, which will be held on September 25-28. The company has been stepping up as a major provider of game demo booths in TGS following the post-pandemic resurgence since as early as 2022, and they will return once again in the 2025 edition with another large roster of games.

Out of the many games listed, a couple of them are relevant to us. Nippon Ichi's Hono-gurashi no Niwa will make an appearance, but only as a decorative display. The most relevant one to us will be the availability of a playable demo build of Starbites.

As a side note, Happinet is also going to be the Japanese publisher for Starbites, which will be released in Japan on October 16. However, they still only list PS5 and Switch 1 as the game's platforms. NIS America has meanwhile announced a North American localization for the same game with additional releases for Switch 2 and PC via Steam in early 2026.
