System Shock 2 (1999) is being delisted on October 10 for PC for standalone purchases
Nightdive Studios has announced that it will be delisting the original System Shock 2 (1999) for standalone purchases, but it will be included with System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster purchases for new and existing owners.
What this means is, if you want to buy the original System Shock 2 (1999) after October 10, you will only be able to get it with the purchase of the remaster. It will be delisted for standalone purcahses. You can still buy it on Steam for a day or two (depending on when you read this article) ahead of it being delisted for standalone purchases. If you already own it, you will be able to re-download it from your library and play it as usual.

If you haven't already done so, you can read my interview with Stephen Kick from Nightdive Studios about the remaster and a lot more here, Adam's full review of the remaster here, and my Steam Deck feature on the game here.
System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster is now available for PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store) PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
