SD Gundam G Generation Eternal global revenues have surpassed $200 million
Sensor Tower Japan reported that SD Gundam G Generation Eternal has surpassed $200 million in global revenues. The outlet made the calculations based on data from the official Google Play Store and Apple App Store between the mobile game's release on April 16 and September 15.
The findings also revealed how G Gen Eternal became the mobile turn-based tactics game with the highest revenue during the period, with approximately over 8 times the income made by Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus and Fire Emblem Heroes.
But even though Bandai Namco launched Eternal worldwide, Japan stands out as the country with the largest contributors for both unique account-based downloads and microtransaction revenues. Sensor Tower also noticed a specific focus on the user base in Japan's major city areas, such as Tokyo and the neighboring Kanagawa Prefecture, as well as Osaka and the Hyogo Prefecture.

SD Gundam G Generation Eternal is available worldwide on Android and iOS. Bandai Namco has been gradually adding new pilots and Mobile Suits from more Gundam titles to the game's roster, but the addition of a brand-new storyline in Gundam SEED Recollection may also have been part of the driving force for the mobile game's overall user base.
