Square Enix has revealed the Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake day one patch notes

Square Enix has released the Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake day one patch alongside the game's launch featuring English voices added to some event scenes, additional tutorials, new accessories in Dragon Quest I, and more.

The update will be live as version 1.0.1.0 across Switch 2, Switch, PS5, Xbox Series, Steam, and Xbox on PC (Microsoft Store). You can find the full patch notes via Square Enix below:

Update content:

• English voices have been added to some event scenes.
• More Traveller's Tips (i.e. tutorials) have been added.
• The Anti-Freeze Earrings and Asbestos Earrings have been added to the obtainable accessories in DRAGON QUEST I.
• Some adjustments have been made to the "Tactics" AI and enemy behaviour AI.
• Miscellaneous changes, minor bug fixes and stat adjustments, and performance optimisation.

Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC (Steam, Xbox on PC).
