Super Robot Wars Y DLC1 set releases on November 20/21
The November 2025 State of Play included a release date reveal for Super Robot Wars Y's first DLC pack. The new content will be available on November 21 in Asian time zones, although those with early access rights can get them two days earlier on November 19.
As a reminder, Bandai Namco had previously revealed the general gist of the SRW Y DLC that are also eventually obtainable with the season pass. The upcoming first DLC set, titled Contract from the Darkness will add the following content:
- Galaxy Cyclone Braiger (previously appeared in SRW Alpha Gaiden, GC/XO, & NEO)
- Unit: Braiger (Kid, Isaac, Bowie, and Omachi)
- The Big O (previously appeared in SRW Z series and SRW D)
- Unit: Big O (Roger Smith)
- Assist: Dorothy
- Song: Sure Promise (arranged)
- Fuuto PI: The Portrait of Kamen Rider Skull (brand-new)
- Units: Kamen Rider Double, Kamen Rider Skull, and Kamen Rider Accel
- Assist: Tokime
- Song: W-G-X ~W Goes Next~ (instrumental)
This is just one half of the extra content known so far, though. The second DLC wave for SRW Y has also been announced, which is set to add Steel Jeeg, Da-Garn, and Getter Noir. However, Bandai Namco has still not announced the latter's release date as of yet. The base game has been available worldwide on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
Update: Bandai Namco has uploaded a formal standalone trailer for the above Super Robot Wars Y DLC. In American time zones, the first DLC pack will be available on November 20, with Early Access rights on November 18.
The new trailer also revealed that a free update patch to version 1.1.0 will appear earlier on November 17/18. This update will notably add a Battle Rush stage in Chapter 6 and a DLC1 preview stage accessible to everyone after clearing "A Mission for Brave Heroes" in Chapter 2.
